We are pleased to inform that the Council, with support from Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India shall be organising India’s repeat participation in CeBIT 2011 – the largest trade show for the ICT sector scheduled to take place in Hannover, Germany from 1^st to 5^th March 2011. 

CeBIT Hannover is the biggest and best known international trade show in the world for the ICT sector which mirrors the technological progress around the world. It aims to make the ICT market as transparent as possible and to maximize the benefits for trade visitors and exhibitors. CeBIT is the world's largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments. The key target groups are users from industry, the wholesale/retail sector, skilled trades, banks, the services sector, government agencies, science and all users passionate about technology. 

CeBIT offers an international platform for comparing notes on current industry trends, networking, and product presentations. 

It is interesting to note that 

§          More than 4,157 exhibitors from 68 countries participated in CeBIT 2010;

§          More than 4,00,000 trade visitors attended the CeBIT 2010 from all over the world.

§          90 % of all the visitors are decision makers 

Participation Details  

The subsidized rates for allotment of a fully furnished 9 sq. m. booth in India Pavilion are as per the table given below:    

It may be noted that booths will be allotted on first come first serve basis at a subsidized rate for participating member firms of ESC, where as direct participation of member firms of ESC in CeBIT will cost almost double . For immediate booking of a booth ( one side open or corner as the case may be), any interested member exporter of ESC may deposit with ESC a minimum non-refundable token booking amount of  Rs.  50,000/- (` Fifty thousand only ) by way of a crossed at par cheque or a demand draft drawn in the name of Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council and payable at New Delhi and give ESC an undertaking for payment of the balance amount of participation to ESC on demand, after allocation of the booth to the concerned member company. 

ESC package will include the following facilities:  

Ø        Cost towards space rent

Ø        Standard processing fee of Euro 300/-  + 19 % VAT for each co-exhibitor in India Pavilion

Ø        **Marketing fees of Euro 300 /-  + 19 % VAT for each co-exhibitor in India Pavilion   -  ( ** Services included : Co-exhibitors can order and use printed and electronic complimentary tickets, that must be registered before use – 20 tickets per sq m of stand space for exhibitors, maximum of 500 per co-exhibitor at no extra charge; extended internet presence with a company profile and 5 detailed product descriptions categorized into a maximum of 4 product groups each )

Ø         Construction of the booth

Ø         Furnishing & carpeting of the booth  

Ø         Cleaning of the booth

Ø         Interpreter’s service on a sharing basis

Ø         General publicity

Ø         Electricity  

Other Expenses 

It may be kindly be noted that since the booths are being provided at  subsidized rates, no further financial assistance will be available under the MDA / MAI scheme.  All other expenses such as airfare and hotel stay etc. of the representative of the participating companies are to be borne by the participants themselves. 

In order to assess the requirement of space in various halls, interested members are requested to kindly inform us their space requirement in CeBIT Hannover 2011 as per the format give below:
